Vegetarian advocacy in the US began on June 15, 1817, a few steps from the American Vegan Center, where we will mark the occasion with a proclamation, a special veg history tour with Seth Tibbott as guest, a tent at the Christ Church Farmer's Market and an evening presentation on the birth and growth of the US vegetarian movement and of plant-based meat products.
