Elfreth’s Alley Historic Fete Day Returns!
On Saturday, June 4, The Elfreth's Alley Association invites the public to Fete Day–a street festival and fundraiser dating to 1934! The event, which allows peeks into many of the private homes on Philadelphia's most historic residential street, also gives ticket holders a tour through the Elfreth's Alley Museum Houses and access to a new photography exhibit. The event runs from 1-5 PM.
The residents of Elfreth's Alley open their doors during this event to allow attendees to see what contemporary life looks like in these historic structures, built between 1720 and 1840. In addition to the open private homes, the event will feature a variety of entertainment, including craft demonstrations, musical performances, and historically-costumed characters. Refreshments, including a lemonade stand and a vintage selfie station, will also be available.
