First Friday Vegan Day Celebration

Vegan Day falls on First Friday this year, and you can bet we'll be celebrating here at the AVC. We’ll mark both World Vegan Day and Philly Vegan Day, which has been officially proclaimed by the mayor many times since it started in 2014. AVS staff will be on hand from 6:00 to about 8:00 for discussions about the process of going vegan. There will also be music and fun vegan food treats. This is a free event, although donations to the American Vegan Society (a 501(c)(3) non-profit) are encouraged.
