FRIEDAcommunity is proud to announce the upcoming show A closer look by Henbo Henning. The exhibition will be on view from June 7th to September 15.

We invite you to join us for the opening cocktail Friday June 7th, as well as for the artist talk on June 19th.

100% of the sale proceeds of any artwork during the exhibition go to the artist. In return, we ask that any selected artist schedules time to engage with our community through a workshop, a demonstration, or a discussion.

Henbo Henning is a tattooist, illustrator, animator, and painter. His work is heavily influenced by Traditional and Japanese tattooing. Henning’s world is inhabited with strange creatures: octopuses, polliwogs, axolotls, monsters great and small, real or fictional. These imaginary characters come alive whether on a piece of paper, skin, canvas, textile, wall, or on a screen.

Henbo Henning’s creative work straddles the design and art worlds. In 2022, Henning was invited by Nft Now to paint a mural at Art Basel Miami. Henning’s work has recently been exhibited in Atlanta, GA and in New York City, NY. He designed a tour poster for the musician Yungblud, a hot sauce label for the show Hot ones, did branding and design work for Guppy Nft, Allships, and Dave’s New York, among others.
