No, I don’t think you are crazy at all!! Last December seems like a lifetime ago, but I feel like everything that was happening both in Old City and the Historic District was all under your umbrella? And also, isn’t the Historic District in Old City? It’s not truly a standalone district, right?   IMO, I think you should be the driving force behind the holiday season,  especially since you’ve been planning this for months! They should have found a way to collaborate or, if they wanted to keep things separate

Historic Holidays Tree Lighting

Old City District's annual  Historic Holidays Tree Lighting is Wednesday, December 4 from 6pm - 6:30pm held at the Betsy Ross House (239 Arch Street). The eighth-annual Historic Holidays Tree Lighting features a variety of musical and dance performances including Settlement Music School, Philadelphia Dance Academy, Upper Darby Encore Singers, special guest speakers, a holiday tree by Old City’s Petit Jardin en Ville, and even appearances from Santa Claus himself.
