Liberty, Now & Then Speaker Series: Preempting Fate - Technology, Gaming and Climate Change

From disappearing shorelines to extreme weather events, we are witnessing the effects of climate change in real-time. As we look to the future, NLM welcomes Julie Hancher as she leads a discussion with Roland Wall and Roger Turner about how we understand climate change and imagine a way forward. After the discussion, grab a drink and team-up for Solarpunk Futures, a collaborative board game designed by artist collaborative Solarpunk Surf Club. Stop by before the program begins for a brief behind-the-scenes tour of Playing Dirty, the Science History Institute's latest outdoor exhibition that explores the intersections of environmentalism, education, and fun in 1970s board games.

$15 General Admission
$10 for NLM Members (plus one free drink voucher)
Doors Open and Pop-Up Tour Science History Institute “Playing Dirty” begins at 5:30 pm. The event runs from 6-8 pm.
