Pine Needle Basketry

These long leaf southern pine needles are foraged locally and dried over several weeks. In this workshop, you will learn how to coil pine needles into a beautiful little basket or bowl using only a needle and waxed thread!

Choose which colors and shape you’d like your basket to be. We will provide green and brown pine needles and a variety of thread colors. Take home your little handmade basket along with instructions and enough materials to finish your piece if it needs more work.
